India EUS Club was established in 2019. Ten Leading EUS experts from India came together with the aim of creating awareness and education about this wonderful technology in India. The first step was conducting an annual IndiaEUS Summit. The summit brought together National and International experts and had lectures, live demonstrations and Hands on learning for younger colleagues. The first Summit was held in Mumbai in 2019, followed by Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai respectively. India EUS Summit has established itself as the biggest and the best EUS conference in this part of the world, and is attended by 250-300 EUS enthusiasts from India and abroad. In 2023, the membership of the club has been expanded to include 42 members from India. There are plans to conduct Nationwide educational activities from 2024. A total of 12 centres all across India will host a two day hands on EUS training program under the supervision of acknowledged experts. We hope that these efforts will bring about better understanding of this rapidly growing technology, and will help create a talented pool of EUS experts to provide care in all parts of India. The group has also planned to conduct multicenter clinical research in the field of EUS.
